Silent Hill 2 Slot Machine

It's a slot machine By Rob Thubron on October 14, 2019, 9:57 Facepalm: The cancelation of Silent Hills in 2015 came as a huge disappointment to fans of the long-running horror series.

  1. 2 points 2 years ago You can play nearly all of them on the PS3, and for pretty cheap. 1 is like $5 on the psn, the HD collection (2&3) is $30 new and 4 is $10 on the japanese psn. The HD collection isn’t perfect but it works.
  2. Oct 05, 2015 Silent Hill, also referred to as Pachislot Silent Hill, is a pachislot game released in Japan in 2015. The game mainly follows the plot of Silent Hill 2 and features new content. 1 References 2 External links 3 Gallery 3.1 Official wallpapers Official website Promotional video with optional English captions Add a photo to this gallery Add a photo to this gallery.
  3. Aug 04, 2015 The Silent Hill slot machine will be available to play in Japan on October 2015. The trailer itself shows glimpses of the previous games, although gameplay has nothing to do with this slot machine. People were worried Konami’s franchises would end up being abused like this. Many had thought they would be turned into mobile games at least.
  4. The New Silent Hill game 2019 is being released as a slot machine which is only going to be available in casinos, and yes we are talking a cabinet with three sides that most casinos have as standard. So if you’re asking if there’s a new Silent Hill game, there is indeed, but it’s in the form of a big chunk of gambling plastic.

A reliable leaker has revealed information that could mean that Konami is working on at least two new Silent Hill titles.

According to a reliable leaker, Konami may be working on two new Silent Hill installments, with one being a “soft reboot” and the other being an “episodic TellTale/Until Dawn-style game.”

Eurogamer reported that AestheticGamer, who has been known for accurate leaks surrounding Capcom in the past, has revealed that Konami may have two productions in the works. AestheticGamer, after talking about Resident Evil leaks says, “Konami about two years ago reached out to various developers to pitch ideas for two Silent Hill games”

They mention that the one game is apparently to be a “soft reboot” while the other is to be an episodic style title similar to how the TellTale Games titles work and is to “go alongside the reboot”. They clarify that that’s all they know surrounding the rumor, but estimates that there’s “a high chance one or both of those titles may be revealed this year”

“I don’t actually know their plans or anything about these games other than their existence though, I don’t know much about the inner workings of Konami,” AestheticGamer confirms.

franchise, the other an episodic TellTale/Until Dawn-style game to go alongside the reboot. I don’t know anything more than that though, but I sure do hope Konami’s given it the appropriate budget and found the right developer to make those games succeed.

This is just a guess, but I’d say there’s a high chance one or both of those titles may be revealed this year, but we’ll see. I don’t actually know their plans or anything about these games other than their existence though, I don’t know much about the inner workings of Konami.

Earlier this month, we saw Masahiro Ito, known for his work in the Silent Hill series tease that he’s working on a new title and joked that he hopes the title won’t get canceled this time, referencing canceled Konami projects. Masahiro Ito is working freelance, which means this project might not even be linked to Silent Hill, but the joke kind of points to the possibility it is indeed a Konami production.

As Halloween looms ever closer, I occasionally flash back to the survival horror game that still provides plenty of scares to this day. Silent Hill 2, widely considered one of the best games of the Silent Hill franchise and remains a staple of the survival horror genre of video games. It's a game steeped in atmosphere, a character study of protagonist James Sunderland. Surprisingly, neither of the Silent Hill films used the plot of the game, instead borrowing from the original and its direct sequel, Silent Hill 3. While monsters from Silent Hill 2 such as Pyramid Head made appearances, the narrative does not contain the emotional punch of this game.

Silent Hill 2 Ps2

While this is a small issue, the game's handling by publisher Konami is perhaps more troubling. After Silent Hill 4 underperformed, Konami farmed the franchise out to other developers. The end result was a gradual fading as later games didn't quite reach the standards of its previous in-house titles. While I enjoyed Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, the downward slope seemed inevitable. Then there was the fiasco of removing P.T. from digital storefronts and the cancelation of Silent Hills, leaving the franchise in an uncertain position.

But the latest attempt to bring Silent Hill 2 to HD in the Silent Hill HD Collection revealed the full extent of franchise mishandling. Having lost the source code, the version of the game was based on a beta. The best way to really experience it is through purchasing a PS2 version. To rub salt in the wound, Konami's last mention of Silent Hill is the Silent Hill pachinko slot machine. It honestly appears that Konami really doesn't care about the game or the franchise at this point. Just like how many people disappear into the town's fog, the franchise has virtually disappeared without a trace. A horror classic like Silent Hill 2 deserves a far better treatment than this.
